Same as all the users, except that since you're in the rewrite team yourself, you essentially only need permission from yourself (note that this is only the case for those in the rewrite team).

That seems fine, but what if one of us wanna rewrite it?

In my opinion, we should have a system where when pages are in deletion (from the start of the 24 hour grace period until the page is deleted), users can volunteer to rewrite it — with permission from the author or the rewrite team — but if no one steps up, it will be deleted.

We won't be needing to update the levels, as the links will repair automatically, but yes, it is a given that when new Rooms are added we'll be needing to add them to the list

Neat, although it means that for each level that posses room a new entry will be added ? It's a good solution for now but might later be hard to maintain. Let's have that format for know and try to keep in mind that the day too much levels or room is added we'll have to update it.

I suggest it should be revised to make the vote staff-only, as with this it'll essentially go from users voting on the rate module to users voting in the per-page-discussion.

IMO this is fine, it'll take ages to reach -10, especially since it won't even be removed at that point, only put up to vote.

-5 seems bit overkill to me. Like -10 should be good, or if it stays over -5 for a few days, then deletion should be considered.

Yup, looks good to me!

sounds good imo

I suggest having collapsibles within the mainlist.

What do you think?

The current policy is as follows:

Once a page reaches -5 in rating it becomes a candidate for deletion, and will be subject to a 'deletion vote' where members will decide on whether the page should stay up or be deleted. It should be noted that if a page has been substantially edited recently1, it will be reverted to the previous revision. The deletion threshold is 5 member votes or 3 staff votes.

In addition, pages that have hit the deletion range will be given a 24-hour grace period.

Are there any objections to this policy? Feel free to write below.

Agreed.

Re: AbaddonFmL by StretchsterzStretchsterz, 24 Apr 2020 20:19

With the new developments of the user definitely not being who he says he is, I'm in favor of membership revocation. Anything more seems like overkill.

The user ( AbaddonFmLAbaddonFmL) migrated Level -33 (without permission from the Rewrite Team) under the same name as the original author of the Level. We are currently waiting on a response from the user. Keep an eye on.

Yes, as i thought we are just gonna have categories with Normal, Sub-Layer, Negative, and Secret Levels.

I'm completely fine with toa jannox's alternate version which lists them in clusters, and adding glitched levels is also a good edition.

Are we going to put all level categories in the main canon?

this designation seems off to me.

Much like the Comp Winner prefix we were going to do before, this designation could be applied in many different ways, unless there is something that you fundamentally disagree with. For me, it doesn't really matter; it doesn't add much just to add a designation, but there are also many unintrusive methods of implementing it. Either way, not much is different.

I personnaly think that the name "Heritage" for the 9 Levels of the current main canon is inapropriate. The designation should be appropriate for The Backrooms Lore, something more about reality properties being distorded or stable.

I don't really understand what you're getting at here. Are you implying that the names should be in-universe appropriate?

The addition of the part regarding the Standards level follow the same problem. It should be nammed with something a litlle "Backroom - y ".

I agree, though this sort of depends on what you're considering to name it.

Moreover, Are we going to throw all levels alltogether ?

As in, throw all the level categories in the same canon? I think we might've already decided to do that, though if we haven't it's going to be a bit of an issue to concur.
If you're implying to put all the Level categories on the same page, I assume there'll be some separation in some way.

The main thing I'm getting at is that we need to sort most issues out individually and come to a complete agreement.

Revision: I have just now seen the last tab, and it looks like a perfect solution. You got the yes from me.

The use of 'Quantum Fluctuant' implies that the Levels fluctuate in and out of existence and that then may not exist without explicitly saying it. Absolutely genius.
